“ What is going on with Google Star ratings? This restaurant is not a 3.8! It deserves much better. My wife and I stopped by for an early 5 PM dinner on a Wednesday. The place was nearly full, but we still were seated within minutes at a high top. The atmosphere was fresh, open, and not as noisy as you would expect for the crowed. Our waitress Ayden was amazing - friendly, attentive, and helpful. We ordered a crispy ravioli appetizer and some Peroni's for happy hour and then a butter crust deep dish pepperoni pizza for the main course. The pizza was identical to the delicious version that we have enjoyed at the Michigan Avenue location in Chicago. We enjoyed our dinner and will be back. Ignore the low ratings. ”
“ We are so happy to have Lou’s here in Surprise. We use to travel to their Phoenix location so having it here literally 5 minutes away is wonderful. We are from Chicago so Lou’s is no stranger to us. We love their deep dish pizza & the rest of their food. We’ve just about tried everything on their menu & you can’t go wrong no matter what you order. We go quite often & absolutely love their happy hour! Our visit a few days ago was great. Our waitress Kelly was very attentive and such a delight. It’s nice to have such good service and wonderful food. ”
“ Deep dish is king, a meal in a slice! Very delicious, did not disappoint. Super glad to have them on the West Side. No more “To-Go” only from Glendale or the long drive to Scottsdale. Staff was very friendly and accommodating., although the pizza did take a bit to come out. The restaurant in general is super casual and chill, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. Although I didn’t sit at the bar, I can see myself in there enjoying a few drinks. I’ll definitely be back again. ”

The service stood out right away—our server was super friendly, checked in without being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was just as good. We got the deep-dish pizza, and it was exactly what you’d hope for—crispy, buttery crust, rich tomato sauce, and tons of gooey cheese. We also tried a salad and a couple of appetizers, and everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. Even though the place was busy, it didn’t feel rushed or chaotic. “ This was my and my roommate's first time to Lou's and it exceeded our expectations! The patio at sunset was fantastic and managed to be atmospheric despite being close to loud Prasada Parkway. We ordered the Italian Beef Bites & medium pizza with sausage, pepperoni, mushroom & onions. Our server, Paris, was nice enough to bring me fresh chopped basil that I requested. Server was amazing and even snagged this photo of us! 10/10 would definitely come again. ”
“ We've gotten mixed reviews about this place so decided to give it a try! It was amazing! The service was excellent. Our waitress, Charlese, was super fun! We tried a little bit of everything. The Lemoncello Lemonade (spiked lemonade) was refreshing! The Burrata Salad was wonderful. The calabrian chile vinegarette on it was the bomb! The wings were cooked perfectly, moist and spicy but not crazy hot. The Chicago Style deep dish pizza was spot on! Having had authentic Chicago Style deep dish pizza in Chicago, I can attest to how great it was. Last, but not least, the Penne with Meat Sauce was very tasty. The sauce had a fresh tomato flavor, was loaded with meat and was seasoned just right. This place may not be to everyones liking, but we thoroughly enjoyed it! ”

We threw a surprise pizza-making party at Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria in Surprise for my dad’s 65th birthday, and I seriously cannot recommend this place enough! I’d been to a WildJoy pizza-making event here before and had such a great time that I knew it would be the perfect way to celebrate with family. Even though I reached out just one day before, Jane, who handles private and special events, didn’t even hesitate — she made it happen. When I arrived 30 minutes early to set up and have balloons delivered, the private room looked amazing and was set up perfectly. It was spacious, cozy, and gave us the perfect vibe for the celebration. The service? Absolutely next-level. We were greeted right away by managers Sam and Sandy, who were both incredibly warm and accommodating throughout the entire evening. Our server Chloe was fantastic — attentive, kind, and on top of every detail without ever being overbearing. She made sure everyone felt taken care of from start to finish. And the food... wow.
